Tilda and "Grandpa Ken".

(The girls adopted Ken after he brought over his Shire horses, tractor, and bag of jelly beans.)

Bothilde has been spending lots of time checking on the new baby kittens.

Una, for her part, adores the goats. They are both helping us out in the CSA field. Tilda helps Papa lay the drip tape and hoe the beds, while Una hums to herself, checks out the quality of the dirt, and gives Mama moral support while she is planting out transplants.

The composted manure pile is one of the girls' favorite spots. Bathtime comes more often these days.

Easter

Easter morning dawned! And it began with CHOCOLATE! And lots of it. Then came dancing and giggling, and a general huzzahing over the RESSURECTION!
